Obituary for Helen Marie Clevenger (Nail)

Helen Marie Clevenger died on November 26, 2014, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Helen was born in Winchester on January 25, 1939 to Pearl and Maurice Nail, Sr. and attended Handley High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clevenger, and her parents. She was employed as a secretary at E.E. Bayliss, Realtor for some 45 years and was the very first “Winchester Star Secretary of the Year” recipient. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served faithfully as pianist and organist.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Shelton Jackson of Salt Lake City, Utah and her brother, Maurice Nail, Jr (Phoebe) of Winchester; her four children, Denise Everly (Tom), David Clevenger (Crissy), Keith Clevenger and Jeffrey Clevenger; grandsons Daniel Kremer, Adam McLendon (Autumn), Matthew Clevenger, Nathan Clevenger; granddaughter, Savannah: great-granddaughter, Shaelyn McLendon; great-grandsons, Liam, Henry and Christopher Kremer, and many special cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was completely devoted to her family and freely gave everything without a thought to herself. Our Mom was truly an angel on earth.
A funeral service will be at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
