We live in Texas and Many years ago Uncle Al & Aunt Doty secretly just showed up at my front door to the Suprise of my 7 year old daughter.
She said who are you he said Im your Uncle AL,she said we dont have an Uncle Al.....he said you do now and that started a story that for over 20 years gets told almost yearly.Since then we have talked regularly and ....we All returned the suprise and secretly showed up at Doty's Birthday party without telling anyone. We all piled out of the Elevator and he was so happy to see us.
Al & Doty came back to Texas and we all went to a Cowboys/Redskins Football game and i Almost converted him to a Cowboys fan...Almost but the Redskins beat us Bad but it was a Great Week. The highlight was they were at the Reveal of my First Grand Baby and that made it a Really Special day for all of us.We are so blessed to have re connected with Al & Doty and i will miss my phone calls to talk about Life,Football,Westerns and his Wise Crack Sayings. I'm Glad i got to See him Again

With Much Love and Blessings to Al Doty and all the Virginia Shirleys from the Texas Shirleys
