Obituary for Jacob Milton "Jake" Baker
Jacob “Jake” Milton Baker, Sr., 89, of White Post, VA went to his heavenly home, surrounded by his family, Sunday, March 10, 2019.
Jake was born June 7, 1929 in Clarke County, VA; the son of the late Charles and Laura Jenkins Baker.
He served his country with the US Army. He was a self-employed carpenter. Jake was a very strong man of faith.
He married Faye Quesenberry, April 16, 1949 in Baltimore, MD. She preceded him in death.
Jake is survived by his sons, Jacob Milton Baker, Jr of White Post and Jerry Lee Baker and his wife Courtney of Richmond, VA; daughter, JoAnn Carol Choi of Winchester, VA; son-in-law, Justin Yoon Choi of White Post; grandchildren, Jeremy Michael Baker, Jesse Abraham Baker, Stephanie Ann Choi, Phillip Young-Ho Choi and Andrew Young-Soo Choi, seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchild, and sister, Catherine Garrison.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Jayson Patrick Baker and Jeremiah Mathew Baker, and eighteen brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, March 13, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
