James Autry Jenkins, Jr., “Jimmy”, 76, of Stephens City, VA died, August 23, 2019.
James was born January 3, 1943 in Summit Point, WV; the son of the late James Autry Jenkins Sr. and Ethel Mae Nichols Jenkins. He worked as a carpenter in commercial construction.
Jimmy married Bonita Frances Jones, January 16, 1964 in Stephens City.
Along with his wife he is survived by, his children Catherine M. Lepley (Melvin) of Stephens City, Stacey A. White of Stephens City and James A. Jenkins, III of Stephens City; brothers, Sonny I. Jenkins of Gore, VA and Marvin Jenkins of Summit Point; sisters, Jean Gordon of South Carolina, Audrey Graves of Boyce, VA and Ethel White of Inwood, WV; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Doris Dodson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Shenandoah Memorial Park with Rev. James Simmons officiating.
