Obituary for Linda Susan Elder (Churchill)
Loving Wife and Mother, Linda Susan Elder, 66, of Stephens City, VA peacefully passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Linda was born February 10, 1953 in Washington, DC; the daughter of Edward Howard Churchill and Helen Alma Burman Churchill. She married John “Jack” MacGregor Elder November 1, 1980 in Springfield, VA.
Along with her adoring husband, Linda is survived by two honored children, Justin MacGregor Elder of Newport, RI, and Jennifer Marie Elder of Stephens City, VA; and a heartfelt sister, Janie L. Magyar of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Annie and horse, Ralph.
Linda loved spending time with her family, riding horses, golfing, swimming, and skiing.
A Celebration of Life event will be held privately in her honor where family and close friends of Linda will rejoice in the great memories we made with her. She touched so many lives in a positive, meaningful, long lasting way. Let her forever rest in peace.
