Obituary for Sidney Joe Virts Sr.
Sidney J. “Sid” Virts, Sr., 68, of Clear Brook, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center.
Sid was born October 11, 1950 in Loudoun County, VA; the son of Aubrey L. Virts and the late Dixie Sambower Virts.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Virts; his father, Aubrey Virts; his children, David Virts and his wife Sarah, Sidney Joe Virts, Jr. (J.J.) and his wife Lindsay, and Kristy Virts and her fiancé Logan Lancaster; a brother, Eddie Virts; and his granddaughter, Vivien.
Sidney was a loving, kind husband and father. He never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
